De acuerdo con Surfista. I woud open the space but I wouldn't strip lower teeth.
On my opinion you have to correct the occlusal plane so I would increase lower molar highness and upriht lower incisors ( chin will be less pronounced ) and then put down upper incisors ( to better see gummy on smile )
